 The Briscoe Gates ranches represent a range of 20,000 contiguous acres that have been under a continuous and focused deer management program now for over 20 years.  One of our principals worked professionally as a wildlife biologist with TPWD and is well known as a top consultant for deer management in South Texas.

 We maintain our low fenced native deer herd in a natural and well managed habitat, allowing only a limited and controlled harvest of deer.  By focusing on selectively removing inferior animals while protecting young bucks until maturity, we have been able to consistently maintain a large percentage of mature trophy bucks for many years.
